How to reset Mini Airbag warning light?

I have just changed the seat belt pre-tensioners in a 06 Mini. The airbags did not fire. Can the airbag warning light be switched off by computer or do i need to send the ECU away to be reset?

You can either go to a BMW/MINI dealer to get this reset, or an independent garage with the correct tool can also do it.

If you plan to keep the car some time and service it yourself you could even buy a scan/reset tool so you can DIY the job in the future. Just google MINI airbag reset tool for some retailers selling them, for not that much money either (if it's going to be well used).
