Tsunami warning closes beaches, attracts curiosity about the possible fluctuations in the waves generated by an earthquake of magnitude 8.8 in Chile early Saturday morning was a benign affect along the Coastside. Local authorities reported no injuries, damage or flooding alarming – and it was not for lack of foresight. All eyes were on water.
