Laptop car adapter?

Which is better for powering a laptop in a car / boat? An investor or a plug adapter? Or are both the same?

That depends on your preference. I use an inverter, because it can be used for other things like a portable DVD player for children on long trips (mine lets you connect two things at once). If a plug adapter is available for your computer, it only works with the team.
