Installation

Virtually all wood dash kits come backed with automotive-grade 3M tape and a sheet of instructions, or schematic. 3) Coat the dash area that will receive kit pieces with adhesion promoter. Do this carefully and deliberately so that it does not "run" onto surrounding areas.

5) Peel back tape and stick pieces into place. For larger pieces, unpeel bottom-first when sticking. This will allow you to adjust as needed. When satisfied, simply peel away the remaining tape and adhere the rest of the piece.

6) Once content with positioning, press pieces into place firmly. "Thumb" them down for a tight, concise fitment.

How to connect ipod to car stereo through aux output?

I have a Sony Xplod 100db+ stereo in my car with an aux output. I recently bought a Griffin Auxiliary Audio Cable so I could listen to my ipod in my car. I connected everything like I was supposed to, but I can't get my ipod to play on my stereo. There is only a place to plug an aux cable into, but I can't find anything to switch my stereo from cd or audio (radio) to aux. Please help me figure out how to connect my ipod to my stereo. Thanks!
When I try to switch over to another mode the only options that are available are CD and audio (the radio). There is no aux option, even though I have a plug for it.

Are there any known problems with bluetooth connection between iPhone and car bluetooth handfree device?

I was able to pair my iPhone with my car handfree bluetooth device. However, once I turned off the bluetooth on my iPhone and turned it back on, both devices were not able to detect each other. I had no problem with my other two bluetooth phones previously. Firmware version for my iPhone is v1.0.1.

Yes, you can make an iPod work with it but you'll need a special cable. On the back of the head unit there is a special plug that is uniqe to Pioneer. Normally you would plug the adapter cable in there but after I checked into it, it would appear that this cable won't work with this unit. Because of this it would appear that you have only one option left. There should be an aux input on the front of your head unit. On mine it is a 3.5 mm jack, so I'll assume it's the same for you. Other versions of said rearview mirror have greater capabilities. The one launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has allows 200 hours of standby or 10 hours of talk time between recharges. It has a heads up display on the mirror itself for caller-id. Further, it has the capacity to broadcast modulate to the FM radio inside the car.

Which car should i buy? I am torn between a 2009 Acura TSX or 2008 Lexus IS 250? Help!?

I am looking to upgrade from my 2005 TSX and to either the 2009 TSX or Lexus IS 250. The thing i love about the TSX is it comes fully loaded ie. navigation, bluetooth, and rearview camera and with the lexus it is a $4000.00 upgrade which will put me over my budget, so i will have to do without! I just LOVE the exterior of the Lexus but love the interior of the TSX!! What should i do?? Oh and one more thing i am concerned about is the backseat of the Lexus..is it really small? I always drive and want to be able to fit my friends back there?

the Acura is a better deal, less expensive.

the Lexus is rear wheel drive but the steering is vague and the ride is not really sporty.

both have fairly tight interiors so make small friends

yes the Lexus backseat is very cramped.
especially if the front passengers are tall, seats back
