Can I play my iPod through my car stereo?

I have a Ford Focus 2003 with a stereo Visteon 6000NE. I want to play my iPod through it, but do not use an FM transmitter. There is no AUX input in the groove again only by its blue color. I do not really want to buy an iPod connector 100 pounds, expected only to use an auxiliary lead.

Well, the only option you have if you do not want to spend £ 100 on a track or use an FM transmitter is to buy a stereo aux advantage again with a direct connection or iPod
