Fuse size?

What would be the best size fuse for 0 gauge wire being split into two amps, one using 2 40 amp fuses and the other using 2 30 amp fuses? That totalling 140 amps, would it be better to use a 150 amp fuse that I already have installed or would it be safer [...]
